Yop post # 19

I'm still plugging along on the hat though with the Veterans' Day school's out Holiday I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. I only got to put the border section on after the ponies and a tiny bit of the next chart, but not enough for anyone to figure out what it is so I didn't take a new pic.

I did start something new on the Holiday Vacation. Something I could work on with her watching (and drooling cause she wanted them to be for her). I think I love this pattern! So quick and easy. I only changed it a little bit to get rid of the big holes left when joining in the round.

And still working on the Leisel Scarf/Cowl. So close to finished now I almost can't stand it! I want to go ahead and put it on and prance around in it. The only thing that stops me is the thought of the needle falling out and all the tears that would follow.

The pony thing is great. Very pretty. And yes... dropped stitches in tears would lead to heartbreak. The first sock I ever grafted I put on and danced around in. Before I had tied off the end. The perfectly even graft was then pulled too tight. So no dancing until finished. ;)

Those mitts look like they worked up in no time at all! It's a shame she was watching you make them, you could've snuck in some gift crocheting :-P. The kids are never off for Veteran's Day here but I'm assuming especially this year that's because we had election day the Tuesday before so really they were just off Mon/Tues of that week!

Love the mitts...isn't it nice to do something quick and mindless?

Lookin forward to seeing more of that beautiful patterned knitting too, I guess it must take lots of concentration and counting?

Yumyum! I'm almost drooling over your pictures, those projects are looking so lovely, I'm jealous! The ponies really look awesome, great job! I think it's great to combine an "easy" project with a more "sophisticated" project, smart move :D

What a great beanie for a horse lover.
Those mitts are terrific and love how she drooled as she wanted them that badly.
