Sad news! I did not complete any of my projects. Haven't even begun any of them. We're in the middle of staining our livingroom floor and "nesting" (moving furniture around aimlessly until we find some arrangement we can live with) so I have not had much time to knit/crochet. I have also fallen behind in my KAL/CAL's and so I decided to catch up first because each project clue from my mystery groups should only take a day or less and then I will feel better about casting on something new.
In all I am in 5 other KAL/CAL's which means if all goes well I should have a better update post for next Sunday. I have enjoyed reading everyone elses posts and can't wait to see what you've all gotten done. Next week, promise (hope).

Life does have a way of getting in the way of our crafting sometimes... I havn't worked on anything today.
I feel like I've not completed much either. I keep having to tell myself it's not a contest. Hopefully next week will be more productive.x
It is frustrating when life gets in the way of crafting time and it always seems to occur during a KAL!!!
Since the YOP just started, I don't think you should feel badly about not having anything done. Good luck with the home business.
You know, life is just like that! Always trying to get in the way of creating time! Enjoy your new floor....
*smiles*
Staining a floor is all-consuming. Don't worry; we'll look forward to seeing your projects when you're ready!
I decided to start off my YOP with a couple of small, easy projects as I figured that will keep me motivated. So far I'm having lots of fun meeting new blogger friends and churning out some satisfying FOs. Good luck with yours this week.
Thanks to everyone for all the understanding and encouragement. Happy Yarn filled days to you all.
Once your home is sorted, you'll be in a much better position to crack on with your WIPs, so it seems wise to me to focus on that first, and you have plenty of time to catch up :)
?Oh well that is what happens to me at times too...but you just get up and start all over again and it will get done....maybe this week will be a better week. :)
as much as I'd like to have knitting be the priority (sometimes) life comes first. It always seems to pop up when i'm already overcommitted to something. I bet your floor is going to be beautiful.
